A fabulous train journey and a new card .

Hello all, after another little break from blogging I am back.

Recently I have been doing a few commissions for the docrafts Creativity magazine, I am also on the docrafts project design team.So life is a little busy around here at the moment.

Add into the mix the fact that after 13 years of hard work my husbands 1930 Gresley Teak railway carriage had its maiden trip on the North Yorkshire Moors railway. This took the form of an official launch train ,with buffet lunch provided by  guess who ?.Yes,myself and two friends catered for 160 hungry diners.

The day was a huge success and needless to say I am so proud of my husband for his achievement.

If you would like to take a peak here is the link

So here is a card I made recently using some goodies from docrafts.

The card has several layers of vellum ,with stamped images and die cuts in between the layers.

  2. Thank you Jill,I was a little disappointed about the card, but to be honest not too surprised,it was a little dull(being just monochrome). it’s all a big learning curve at the moment , getting used to how it all works ,what they like, need etc.xx
