Docrafts Project Design Team Blog Hop,Summer Sizzler.

Hello there and welcome to my little corner of Blog Land.

Today I would like to share a card I made for our Blog Hop.The title is Summer Sizzler.

When we first decided to arrange the hop it was a heck of a lot warmer and to be fair I should have made the card then.

But time got the better of me and I left it to the last minute (silly me ). Well I didn’t want to let my friends down so I decided to have a go at something unusual for me,an abstract (ish ),quick to make card.

The theme conjured up a colour combo that I would normally avoid ,purple and orange. You can’t get more sizzley than that, I thought. So with a few punched circles and flowers,a couple of fine-liner pens and some spritzing ink I created a card.

Now I have to be honest here, this is not exactly my best work and I am a little unsure if I even like it. I think it is soooo different from my usual style that it is a bit of an adventure for my eyes , but hey ho I joined in.

Let me know what you think (honestly) I don’t mind !

Please hop along to see the fabulous creations of my fellow team mates, the links are below

  1. I love this, Mags, and that’s my honest opinion! The purple and orange are fabulous and I think design is great. If you get a moment, would love to know which fine liners you use, I’m having trouble finding one I like.
